I’m looking to purchase a property and I’d steer very clear from them, if it wasn’t because of the current housing market I’d doubt she’d ever sell a house with that attitude.
In my written enquiry I asked how long the tenant had left on the lease, so when this lady called me I asked again and she rudely shot back “they’ve been there 6 years.” After stating that I work frequently and irregularly - that is so I can afford a place - so I would need a time that suits the tenants, so that I can arrange around that, she said that she cannot work on maybes and that it’s against the law to not talk to the tenants... very confusing.
I said that I can definitely do a Sunday and she said that no one works Sundays. (Contrary to the many Sundays I’ve seen houses and spoken to agents.. okay then.) I very much tried to organise something to suit because she had not consulted the tenants yet - strange - and then told me she has a lot of people with interest in this place.
Okay. Definitely wasn’t a particularly desirable place and certainly not for the service I received. Please don’t let agents like these bully you!
