  Just had dinner there and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. The cocktail list is expansive and the ones we tried were delicious. Both the southern fried chicken and the ham hock pot pie are ones we would recommend. We also had the brownie and the rice pudding which were both a delicious way to end the meal. We will be back.

  Sunday lunch…. Decided to drop in.
  Always clean and fresh.
  Quick and friendly service at the bar.
  The menu covers most tastes for people, we ordered the chicken popcorn, although small pieces they were cooked perfectly, tender and tasty. Also ordered the chicken tandoori pizza, generous size and plenty of toppings.

  The family room was basic, but it was roomy, comfortable, and clean. We also stayed in their twin room on another night, but it was small and the aircon was very old, which needed a good cleaning or replacement. I love the retro style of the exterior of the motel. I think it would have been good if they also added some retro touch to their rooms but it is a budget-friendly motel after all. The restaurant/pub looked great, but the food was just okay. The location was great, a walking distance of shops (check out Harris Farm!).

  The food was hands down fantastic and the bomb! The burgers and pork belly starter we ordered was to die for.
  Prices were great too, live music was buzzing and the atmosphere was banging. Somewhere I'd be happy to catch up with friends over a beautiful plate of food or even just a few beverages.

  Impeccably clean and modern rooms. Multi million dollar renovations have brought a classic 1960s original motel back to the splendour of the era retaining all original external features. With a first class, super modern restaurant and bar setup.

  Always made to feel welcome. Great Staff. Food is always spot on. Friday nights Carvery. Worth the journey. Clean, tidy and affordable rooms.

  On visiting albury had several lunch meals with family, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, excellent value great size good choice and reasonably priced. We Would highly recommend the Astor to anyone visiting albury. We shall miss our visits there.
