I feel sad in this age when I took my 6 year old daughter into this store to choose her grandmother a book as a present and she was told by the man running the shop she wasn't to handle the books. I would understand if a child was being careless or mistreating the products however this was not the case as she was being supervised by myself.
What sort of message does this send to children? We proceeded to a major retail store and purchased a book there.
